The house sale market
The property market is changing. Each and everyday, buyers are gaining the upper hand in the market over vendors who wish to sell. It wasn't long ago that houses where advertised through estate agencies and the potential buyers clamoured over each over to get their offer in quickly.
2007 saw five base rate borrowing interest rate rises. It also saw three or four of the largest adverse mortgage lenders pull out of the market. If you couple this in with one of the largest building societies getting into some highly reported fiscal trouble, whether the claims are true or not, and the introduction of HIPs ( home information packs ) on all homes with three or more bedrooms, the house
sales market has shifted from a sellers, to a buyer market.
Still, this hasn't had a negative effect on the prices of homes. House prices themselves haven't started to plummet, although the actual raises in property sale prices has slowed, getting a quick sale is becoming more and more unlikely, especially if you are trying to sell through conventional methods like estate agents or even through online property sites.
The ramifications of this means that those sellers who really do need a quick sale are not going to get one, unless they really do drop the asking price by forty to fifty percent. Now if you are in serious fiscal trouble and the only solution you can find is to sell quickly, you could be in trouble.
Selling your home at half price may not cover the debt you need to pay off with a quick sale. If you do hold out for full price, you may run out of time. Plus if you add into the equation the actual cost of selling your house, with HIPs, survey, valuation, legal fees, estate commissions and the extra mortgage or remortgage payments that have to paid, you will feel that the odds are totally stacked against you.
Help is on hand. Let's forget about using and estate agent and their expensive rates of commission. Let's forget about having to pay for and wait for a HIPs assessor. Let's forget about expensive surveys and valuations. Let's also forget about any legal fees that you usually associate with a house sale.
How does a fee free quick house sale sound, completed within a time scale to suit you, not us, be it one month, one week, one day, or even on the spot?
